About Us
PAALS, a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit, consists of volunteers from Athens, Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur, all working together to tackle the issue of homeless animals in Limestone County and neighboring areas.
Mission Statement
Partnership for Animals in Athens/Limestone (PAALS) will promote the health, safety and well-being of dogs and cats in Limestone County and surrounding areas, focusing on low-cost spay/neuter, homeless animals, and innovative outreach programs.
Board of Directors
The PAALS Board of Directors brings a love for animals and a passion to improve the health, safety and welfare of animals to this effort. The Directors represent expertise in the areas of animal rescue, shelter management, finance, law, veterinary medicine, marketing, and community leadership.
